Hats off to the Dawes Twins! What an awesome Rookie year you all had, Mackenzie on Tuff to Hang With and Madison on Peeka Boom coming home with the OKRHA Short Stirrups Champion and Reserve Champion,
respectively!!!!!
Mackenzie and Tootsie
were also 3rd in the 13
and under division.
Emma and Vickie Holbrook had another successful year. Aboard Lil Ruf Commander, Vickie progressed from being the 2007 OKRHA Rookie
Champion to the 2008 OKRHA
Limited NonPro Champion.
Emma was
crowned the OKRHA Youth
Rookie and Reserve
Champion 13 and under!
Jeromy added significantly to his NRHA earning this year aboard Quxiotes Skeetshootr and Top Guns A Smokin owned by Scott Dawes, Melody’s Smokin Gal owned by Kim Wallace and Easy Lil Whiz owned by Lipps Horse Training.
Top Guns A Smokin was the Limited Reserve Champion at the Sandhills Slide Futurity, as well as 6th in the Intermediate Futurity.
Melody’s Smokin Gal was the Reserve Champion at the Buckskin World Show and picked up NRHA Earnings this year.
Easy Lil Whiz was 4th in the Sandhills Slide Open Derby and qualified for the North American Affiliate Finals in the Rookie Professional Division.
Jeromy also qualified Peeka Boom, owned by Scott Dawes, and Malenkali Joe, owned by Travis Cummings, in the South Central Affiliate Finals.
With Jeromy aboard, Skeetshootr was the Pards Limited Mid America Futurity Champion and top 10 in Tulsa Classic John Deer Limited Futurity.
